The Virtual School
At BCP Virtual School, we champion the education, progress, and wellbeing of children and young people who need our support the most.
Who we support
Through the Virtual School we support:
- children in care
- care leavers
- children with a social worker
- previously looked-after children (PLAC)
- children living in kinship care
- children supported through Special Guardianship Orders (SGOs)

Our team partners closely with early years settings, schools, colleges, social workers, parents, carers and a wide range of practitioners across education.
Together, we make sure every young person feels safe, included and supported in their learning journey.
Our goal is simple: remove barriers to education so every child can thrive and reach their full potential.
Our Virtual School exists to champion the education, wellbeing, and future opportunities of children and young people. Here, you’ll find a wealth of information, guidance, training, and practical resources designed to empower everyone involved in helping them thrive.
We believe that meaningful collaboration makes the biggest difference. By working together - schools, carers, professionals, and partners - we can share expertise, strengthen support, and create a consistent network around every child.

This website is a space where we learn from one another, celebrate progress, and stay connected in our shared commitment: ensuring that every child and young person has the best possible chance to succeed.
We’re glad you’re here. Let’s keep supporting each other - because their future is our focus.
