South Central Teaching School Hub
The South Central Teaching School Hub, designated by the Department for Education, supports schools across Dorset by delivering high quality teacher development at every career stage.
As part of the Southern Education Trust, the hub provides core DfE priority programmes, including Initial Teacher Training (ITT), the Early Career Framework (ECF), National Professional Qualifications (NPQs), and Appropriate Body services - alongside additional evidence informed CPD.
Its mission is to strengthen teaching and leadership through collaborative partnerships with local schools and expert providers, ensuring educators receive the training, guidance and support needed to excel in their roles.
The hub offers significant support for SEND development, leadership and provision through its suite of resources.
