Unlocking potential through supported internships
Supported internships are a powerful, life-changing pathway, opening doors to employment, independence and brighter futures for young people with SEND.
Designed for young people aged 16 to 24 with an Education, Health and Care (EHC) plan, supported internships are structured, work-based study programmes that place real employment experience at the heart of learning.
With the support of a trained job coach and a personalised study programme, young people spend the majority of their time developing real skills, in real roles, with real employers - building confidence, independence and a clear route into paid work.
