BCP Inclusion Support Partnership (Experts at Hand)

Welcome to the BCP Inclusion Support Partnership Offer

Building belonging, growing confidence, thriving together.

We are proud to introduce the BCP Inclusion Support Partnership - a dynamic, forward-thinking approach designed to bring the very best expertise directly into our schools, settings and communities.

At the heart of this work is a simple but powerful idea: the right support, in the right place, at the right time.

All different all equal - 2

    A partnership built around you

Developed through deep collaboration with children and young people, families, practitioners and multi-agency partners, our partnership reflects what matters most:

    • feeling safe, included and understood
    • access to early, consistent and meaningful support
    • working together as a connected system around each child
    • providing help before challenges escalate

We believe inclusion is strongest when it is lived every day, in every classroom and setting - not something separate or additional.

The national context: 'Experts at Hand'

The BCP model is part of a growing national shift towards 'Experts at Hand' approaches, where specialist expertise:

    • is embedded within everyday practice, not held at a distance
    • builds the confidence and capability of staff, rather than dependency
    • works across education, health and care as one system
    • prioritises early intervention and prevention

This reflects best practice nationally - moving away from reactive services towards proactive, inclusive systems that support children and young people to thrive in their local communities.

What makes the BCP approach different

Our locality cluster-based, early intervention model brings together a rich network of professionals and partners, working as one team around schools and settings.

A multidisciplinary team across education, health and care

A strong focus on building school capability and confidence

A single, easy access route for support

A commitment to equality, inclusion and belonging for every child

A system that is responsive, joined-up and grounded in relationships

This is not about creating dependency on services - it’s about growing sustainable inclusive practice across the whole system.

    Our shared vision

Together, we are creating a system where every:

    • child and young person belongs
    • practitioner feels skilled, confident and supported
    • family is a valued partner
    • setting can meet needs early and effectively

Because when we work together, we don’t just support individuals - we build a community where everyone thrives.
